Meet the people behind the work.
Jeff Handyman 2 The Rescue is not a franchise and it is not a crew of strangers. It is Jeff and Debbie Mauro. Jeff does the craftsmanship. Debbie runs the business and answers your call. Fifty years of quality work, one family, one phone number.

From New Jersey to Northeast Florida. Fifty years of doing it right.
Jeff started in the trades in 1976. He spent decades in New Jersey learning every corner of the craft from carpentry and tile to drywall and finish work. When he brought the business to Florida, he brought the same standard with him.
Most handymen pick a lane. Jeff never did. Over fifty years he has remodeled bathrooms, set countertops, tiled showers, hung crown molding, built custom shiplap and TV accent walls, drywalled additions, painted historic trim, installed cabinets, and put in pavers. If it is inside or outside a home and it needs doing, odds are Jeff has done it a hundred times.
That range is rare now. Young crews specialize because it is easier to price and schedule. But the old way of working, where one craftsman can walk a whole job and know how the pieces fit together, still produces better finished work. That is what you get with Jeff.
One call. Real people.
There is no dispatcher, no call center, no sales pipeline. Debbie answers the phone. She knows every active job, every quote, and every customer by name.
Debbie Answers
Every call goes to Debbie personally. No voicemail trees, no outsourced receptionists. If she cannot answer live, she calls back the same day.
Jeff Shows Up
When Jeff commits to a day, Jeff is there. On time, with the right materials, and ready to work. No rotating subcontractors, no "we will be there between nine and five."
Clear Written Quotes
We do not charge by the hour. We quote the whole project, in writing, so you know the number before we start. No surprises, no creeping bills, no pressure.
One Year Guarantee
Every job carries a one-year workmanship guarantee. If something is not right, we come back and make it right. That is how we earn referrals.
Most handymen are not licensed. Jeff is.
In Florida, most people advertising handyman work carry no state license at all. That is fine for swapping a light fixture. It is not fine for anything structural, anything load-bearing, or any remodel that has to pass a permit inspection.
Jeff holds a Florida State Certified Residential Contractor license (CRC1329768). That credential covers full remodels, additions, and structural work that an unlicensed handyman legally cannot touch.
On top of the licenses, we carry full insurance on every project. That protects your home, your wallet, and your peace of mind. Ask a handyman without a license what happens when something goes wrong. The answer is not reassuring.
